Setting Up Payees & Paying Bills

  1. Make bill payments to any business or person located in the U.S. from your desktop or mobile device.

    In this demo, you'll learn how to:

    • Add businesses or people as Payees
    • Make bill payments and learn about payment options
  2. How to add businesses or people as Payees.

  3. Get started by clicking “BILL PAY” in the left navigation.
  4. The first step in paying your bills is to add businesses or people as Payees. To do this, click the “Add Payee” button on the Bill Pay Dashboard.
  5. Select whether the Payee you’re adding is a “Business” or “Person”, then click “Next”.
  6. Enter the required details for the Payee and click “Next”.

    TIP: When using the Name Of Business field, most businesses will start to appear as you type and you can select them from the menu. If not, manually enter details using the information from your bill.
  7. Next, enter the Payee’s Address and Phone Number and give the Payee a Nickname. When you’re done, click “Add Payee”.

    TIP: Most businesses will be found automatically and won’t require this step.
  8. You’ll see a confirmation message that verifies your new Payee has been added. To set up your first payment, click “Go to Payee” to return to the Bill Pay screen.
  9. How to make bill payments.

  10. Click “BILL PAY” in the left navigation to go to the Bill Pay Dashboard. Next, select the Payee you want to send a payment to.
  11. Select the account you want to Pay From and then enter the Amount you want to pay. Also enter the Frequency, Start Date and Delivery Method for your payment. To continue, click “Submit Payment”.
  12. To set up recurring payments, select a Frequency other than “One Time” (for example, use “Monthly”). Then enter an Ending time for your recurring payments to stop.
  13. Review your payment details, then click “Confirm Payment”.
  14. You’ll see a confirmation message that verifies your payment has been scheduled. You’re done! You can click “Print Confirmation” to print out your payment details. Click “Return to Payees” to make another payment.
  15. Back on the Bill Pay Dashboard, you’ll see a list of your scheduled payments for the next 30 days. You can click “See all activity” for a calendar showing all your scheduled payments.
  16. Using the “MultiPay” tab allows you to pay several bills at one time, all from a single screen!
  17. Now you know how to add Payees and use Bill Pay!
