How to enable your mobile device to receive SMS (Text) Notifications.
Before you can receive SMS (Text) Notifications, you must enable your mobile device to receive them. To get started, click your name in the upper right and select "Contact Information".
Look for the "Mobile" row and click "Edit".
Enter or confirm the phone number for your mobile device and be sure to check "I would like to receive SMS text messages to this number".
Follow the prompts to request a confirmation code and then enter it. Click "Confirm Code" and be sure to "Save Changes".
You'll get a confirmation message verifying your phone number was enabled. Now you can add SMS (Text) as a way to receive Notifications.
How to set up Notifications.
From your Settings screen, click the "Notifications" tab. Locate the type of notification you're interested in and click the gear icon next to it. In this demo we'll focus on "Balance Summary".
To choose the accounts you want the Notification sent for, click "Select an Account".
Enter the details and select the accounts for your Notification. Be sure to click "Save" when you're done.
Make sure the Notification is in the "ON" position and then select Email, SMS and/or Push for how you would like to receive Notifications. Be sure to "Save Changes".
To receive Push Notifications, install the Bethpage App on your mobile device and allow Push Notifications from Bethpage. Once you do this, the option for Push will show in the Notification Settings.
When you're done, you'll get a confirmation message. Be sure to explore other Notification options. For added security, we recommend you enable Debit Card Purchase, Transaction and Online Banking Access Notifications.
