Sign Term Sheet Agreement

Agree on terms and conditions of your new loan. A Good Faith Deposit will be required, and the application process will begin.

Sign Commercial Loan Application

Complete and sign Bethpage loan application. Credit and background checks will be performed on all owners and guarantors.

Property Inspections

Inspections of physical property will be performed, such as: Appraisal, Environmental and Flood.

Underwriting

Provide Initial Loan Documents for our Commercial Real Estate Underwriting process. (See list below.)

Credit Approval Memo

Detail the conditions for closing. Once all conditions have been satisfied, the loan will be sent to Legal for closing.

Initial Loan Application Documents

A dedicated Bethpage Relationship Manager will work with you every step of the way to ensure that you are able to secure the loan that best fits your business needs.

Below are the documents you will need to gather for the application process:

  • Completed and signed business loan application
  • Business tax returns under existing ownership (most recent 3 years)
  • Business plan may be required.
  • Personal tax returns for all owners/guarantors (most recent 3 years)
  • Personal Financial Statement for all owners/guarantors 
  • Debt Schedule
  • Sales contract (Purchase)
  •  

  • Lease agreement(s)
  • Rent Roll(s)
  • Additional documentation may be required.
  • Personal guarantee
  • Personal credit check
  • Deal specific requirements (Signed Term Sheet required)

Hazard insurance is required on all loans secured by real property (flood insurance may also be required where applicable.) To obtain a loan, membership at Bethpage is required, which is subject to approval and requires opening a business operating account. All guarantors must be US citizens or permanent resident aliens.
