Our Mission of Charitable Giving and Volunteering in the Community.

In 2002, Bethpage Federal Credit Union established a charitable community outreach program partnering with non-profit organizations on Long Island. Today this program extends across both Nassau and Suffolk counties, helping non-profit organizations make a difference in the lives of Long Islanders.

Bethpage was founded on the premise of people helping people. Through our charitable community outreach program which focuses specifically on: Housing, Economic and Community Development, Education, Pediatric Healthcare, Hunger Relief Programs and Culture, Bethpage supports efforts through our Volunteer Program and our Community Sponsorship Program that make a difference! Our staff dedicates hours of volunteer service at not-for-profit organizations, giving back to communities in both Nassau and Suffolk Counties. See how our employees give back to the community!

VITA Tax Assistance

The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Program offers free tax help for low- to moderate income (generally $55,000 and below) individuals and families. Bilingual tax assistors are available.
